1. Who We Are
CIMA Success is an independent study application developed to help students prepare for CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) examinations. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by CIMA or the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA).
2. Information We Collect
We collect: account information (your name and email when you sign in with Google); study progress (completed topics, quiz scores, streak data and XP earned); device information for crash reporting; and usage data to improve the product. If you use guest mode, no personal information is collected — progress is stored on your device only.
3. How We Use Your Information
To save and sync your study progress across devices; to display your ranking on the leaderboard (display name and XP only); to send study reminders if you enable them; to process in-app purchases securely; and to improve the product based on usage patterns.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). We do not sell your data to third parties. Firebase is operated by Google LLC and subject to their privacy policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
5. In-App Purchases
Payments are processed entirely by the app stores. We do not store your payment card details. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time.
6. Leaderboard
If you sign in, your display name and XP total may appear on the public leaderboard. You can opt out by using guest mode or by contacting us to remove your entry.
7. Children's Privacy
CIMA Success is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request deletion of your account and associated data, and withdraw consent for data processing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
